This worksheet is a material take-off, cost-estimating, and preliminary design-sizing aid (septic tank, water storage, fixture units) for planning purposes. It is not a substitute for a complete sanitary/plumbing engineering design, an approved plumbing plan, or a permit application.
Septic tank sizing, water storage sizing, fixture unit tallies, and all resulting pipe, fixture, and material quantities generated here must be reviewed, verified, and sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer, Master Plumber, or Sanitary Engineer as required — before any purchase, construction, or permitting under the National Plumbing Code of the Philippines and applicable local water district and sanitation requirements.
Quantities and design formulas follow Max B. Fajardo Jr.'s Plumbing Design and Estimate and the National Plumbing Code of the Philippines (including the 1959 Sec. 233 standard septic tank size table and Table 7-2 fixture unit values). Codes are periodically revised — always check your entries against the current NPC edition and any local government or water district amendments in effect for your project.
Septic tank sizing here uses the Fajardo formula and standard-size cross-check only; it does not account for soil percolation rate, water table depth, disposal field sizing, or site-specific setback requirements. Fixture unit tallies do not by themselves determine pipe or stack sizing — that still requires the full NPC lookup tables and a hydraulic check by a licensed professional.
